singapore idol

sInGaPoRe iDoL?

Once again, I have to than Peiyi and Jon for helpime finetune ng the layout of this bloggie of mine. Well, you cant blame me, i am a greenhorn in HTML coding, dint pay attention back in sec 2, was always chatting on MIRC behind the teacher's back. Once again, my greatest gratitude to dearest tree and JonJon.

Was watching the episode last night-somehow the much awaited episode-Asian Pop but i think it was a disappointment.I realised that the standard for this competition aint very high(i know i am not in a position to say smth like that) I personally support Sylvester and think Olinda is good but this question suddenly appeared in my head..."Can the winner of this competition represent Singapore on the International Stage?" Pardon me for saying this, "they may just be a disgrace to Singapore". Any comments, anyone? Well perhaps one of the judges, Florence Lian made some sense when she said that Sylvester prob can make it in the Chinese music industry, after fellow Singaporeans like Stef Sun, JJ have made it big in Taiwan.

Well, again, in a competition like this, like many other things in life, i guess it is the process that is most important that the result. The learning experience is often valuable where one acquires new skills and make new acquaintances, just like being in the Army, being in the Uni etc. Something that happens today will become your memory tomorrow, cherish every moment spent with your loved ones, your friends, your family before they become memories...
